there is a dpfe sensor in line with the egr valve they go bad all the time on fords ask for an egr pressure sensor and your problem is fixed.some part stores know it as a dpfe but it has two rubber hoses coming from the egr tube to the sensor two bolts hold it on and one electrical connectorHow to remedy EGR Low condition?
What Pete said.
Basically, if you asked first, you would have saved money spent on an EGR valve.
DPFE sensor = very common issue.
Of course, the EGR ports could have been clogged leading from the exhaust pipe.
That's why you diagnose before replacing parts. Unless you like tossing money out, of course.
You need to clean your EGR cooler system regularly.
