Changing EGR valve on a 95 Bronco - need help disconnecting exhaust gas inlet tube.?

The motor is a 5.8L with a CA EGR valve. Im having trouble disconnecting the actual EGR valve from the exhaust gas inlet tube - none of the wrenhces in my toolbox fit around the head of the tube (where the bottom of the EGR screws into). I tried an adjustable wrench but no matter how hard I try to turn, the thing wont budge - even with atwo healthy doses of liquied wrench.

This is where the EGR is supposed to detach right? Any tips on how to loosen up the stubborn bolt on the inlet tube that holds the EGR valve?

Thanks,

Eric;

I had the same problem with my 88 Ford Pick up truck. The EGR tube experiences HIGH Heat. Your going to have to heat the bolt, up to red hot to get it to turn. You may try a small torch,

heat the bolt head and and try to turn. MAKE SURE you do not round the head of the bolt. If this occurs, get ready for drilling and tapping. Bolt will have to be heated to about 1600 degrees to be successful

I hoping fot the best..Changing EGR valve on a 95 Bronco - need help disconnecting exhaust gas inlet tube.?
Turns out this particular nut required a 1 1/4 wrench. Some heat and PB blaster and no problem came loose right away.
