No it's fairly easy it's right up top soak fasteners with good penetrating fluid first. If you want a quick fix if your egr valve is causing a rough idle...give the base of the egr valve a good couple smacks with a hammer.How hard is it to change the EGR valve on a 1999 Saturn SL2 4cyl?
It is easy, I believe it's just two bolts to loosen.
